Links between linguistics and particulary semiotics and poetry are very important when it comes to interepreting poems or texts.Ali Znaidihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04145310054190935883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5642118029917636850.post-41290097334921490742012-07-12T09:49:12.705+01:002012-07-12T09:49:12.705+01:00Thanks for commenting - I'm glad you found it ...Thanks for commenting - I'm glad you found it interesting as well.<br />I like what you say about the dialogue between the world and our signs being where poetry and growth occurs. One of the things that I enjoy about writing poetry is how it creates something that didn't exist before from 'the world', my conscious experience of it and how I interpret its signs ,my skill (or lack of it!) with words and the dance of my subconscious. It's a dynamic interplay. We have the task of understandig our sign-making - because we aren't ever going to transcend it - and the dialogue between the world and our signs is where not ony poetry, but our personal and social growth happens. I like what you say about whther some signs are too personal for general consumption. I've come across some poets lately that I'd want to put health warnings on, and it's very hard to know just where the disquiet comes from.Forthvalley scribehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05128591514560815991noreply@blogger.com
